Behind the Scenes of Capture the Culture

By Erin Krueger

“You have the sticky factor,” they told me as I walked off stage at an entrepreneurial conference. “Your story is inspiring. People want more—you should write a book.”

I laughed. Becoming an author was never on my vision board. Entrepreneur? Yes. Realtor? Absolutely. But author? That felt like a stretch.

Still, it wasn’t a foreign idea. Over the years, I’ve had realtors—locally and across the country—reach out for guidance. Whether they were navigating team challenges or leadership struggles, I always took the time to offer encouragement or practical advice. But I’d walk away thinking, I wish I had something more I could hand them.

Turns out, I did. I just hadn’t written it yet.

Writing a book felt intimidating. Let’s be honest—what realtor or CEO has time to write a book? But the more I leaned into the idea, the more I realized it was exactly what I needed to do. Not for me, but for the people I wanted to support: realtors, entrepreneurs, and leaders searching for motivation, practical tools, and honest encouragement.

Capture the Culture has already opened so many doors to serve and support others. It’s a reminder of what I’ve always believed: difficult days don’t define you—what you do with them does. My journey hasn’t been perfect. It’s been marked by challenges, long hours, and hard lessons. But those are the very things that shaped me—and this book is proof of that.

If you’re walking through a tough season, or simply need a fresh perspective on leadership and culture, I hope Capture the Culture meets you where you are.

You can grab a copy on Amazon or Barnes & Noble. Let it be the resource I once wished I had to hand to someone like you.
